Not a New Account, Just a New Outlook
Fans recently noticed that Hira Umer’s Instagram profile looked different. The actor clarified during an interview on ARY Digital’s Good Morning Pakistan that she didn’t create a new account — she simply archived older posts.
Speaking with host Nida Yasir, the Mere Humsafar star confessed she felt embarrassed about many of her childhood and adolescent photos.
“I have archived a lot of my older pictures or switched the privacy settings,” Hira explained. “Some memories are best kept tucked away.”
A Candid Look at Early Style Struggles
Laughing as she shared anecdotes, Hira recalled how her mother’s choices dominated her appearance for much of her early life.
“Until ninth or tenth grade, my mother dressed me,” she said. “I had a mushroom haircut, and honestly, people often thought I was a boy.”
As she grew older, Hira began asserting her own fashion sense, allowing her hair to grow and developing her personal style.
Grooming Into Stardom
Reflecting on her growth, she added, “I believe I have groomed myself quite a bit over the years.”
Today, Hira is celebrated for her stylish presence both on and off the screen, a far cry from the shy, boyish child she described.
