Talash film looks promising and all set to release on 15 November
Over the years, Pakistan produced some good films, who did well at the box office, and few failed to impress the audience. Still, we are very much happy that Pakistani films are being produced and released in almost every month of the year, which is an encouraging thing. We all should support the films being produced in Pakistan, we must visit cinemas and watch films. Because our visit will encourage more producers to produce films and eventually our industry grows rapidly.
One film we are particularly talking about, which is going to hit the cinemas on 15th of the November is produced by ZEEKAY FILMS. Its story focuses on the increasing child mortality rates due to malnutrition, written by Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi and directed by Zeeshan Khan (aka Zee Kay). The leading cast includes Sana Bucha, Salim Mairaj, Ahmad Zeb, Faria Hassan, Noman Sami, and Adnan Shah Tipu.
Talash has a strong message to convey to the audience, that too along the lines of entertainment. It has all the essentials a film should have; romance, drama, tragedy, and comedy. It is a commercial project. The movie also depicts a love triangle among medical college graduates.
The film’s first act is a breezy story about three medical students — Saleem, Tania, and Khurram, played by Zeb, Hassan, and Sami respectively.
But it takes a dramatic turn when the three characters, having graduated, are sent to a remote village in interior Sindh to set up a medical camp. They come under the radar of the merciless lords of the land.
How they face up to the enemy and manage to fulfill their professional duty is what makes up the rest of the film. According to Zeb, ‘Talash’s’ “core subject is malnutrition.
In our rural areas, children are generally undernourished, which is why their growth is stunted. But the society’s attitude towards medical treatment is seen as an intervention. The film highlights this very important issue.”
One of the highlighting news is that this movie “Talash” is going to be becoming the first-ever Pakistani Full-Length Feature Film to be Screened at a Special Screening at United Nations Head Quarters, New York City.
