Fortnite Unveils White Widow and Winter Soldier Ahead of Thunderbolts Movie
The Marvel universe is making waves in the Fortnite metaverse once again. To celebrate the release of Marvel’s Thunderbolts film, which premieres next month, Fortnite is introducing fresh content inspired by two fan-favorite characters: White Widow and Winter Soldier.
Starting April 30 at 8 PM ET, these characters will be available as limited-time skins, bringing their unique flair to the island battlefield.
A Stylized Tribute: Comic Book-Inspired Pen and Ink Styles
Both skins will come with a Pen and Ink alternate style, a design technique that mirrors classic comic book visuals using cel-shading. This style enhances the skins with bold outlines and textured shadows, giving players a retro-meets-modern aesthetic.

Thunderbolts Cup – Compete to Win Skins Early
Marvel and Fortnite fans can compete in the Thunderbolts Cup, a Duos mode tournament happening on April 25. Over the course of three hours, players can participate in up to ten matches to earn early access to these exclusive skins.
