Tamannaah Bhatia has finally broken her silence on a rumour that has shadowed her for years—claims that she secretly married former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq.

The origin of the rumour? A photo from a public appearance at a jewellery store, which was taken completely out of context.

Speaking on a recent talk show, the actress took the moment to clear the air with humour and honesty. “People believe everything on the internet,” she said. “I was once married to Abdul Razzaq—at least that’s what they say online.”

She then directly addressed Razzaq, adding with a smile, “Sir, I believe you have a family already!”

The viral photo—often circulated on social media—was taken during a jewellery store inauguration that both attended as guests. “There was no personal meeting before or after that event,” Tamannaah explained.

This incident is not unique for the actress. Earlier in her career, she was briefly linked with Virat Kohli, stemming from a joint commercial shoot. “It was a one-day job. We didn’t even stay in touch after that,” she recalled.

Tamannaah has dealt with gossip gracefully throughout her journey in showbiz. More recently, her confirmed relationship with actor Vijay Varma had captured fan interest. However, the two quietly parted ways, with neither addressing the breakup publicly.

The actress emphasized that unfounded reports can be frustrating, particularly when they blur the line between fact and fiction. “It’s funny but also a bit worrying,” she said. “Media should be more responsible about what it fuels.”
