Bollywood’s beloved power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have finally introduced their daughter Dua Padukone Singh to the world — and fans can’t stop gushing over the heartwarming reveal.
The actors, who welcomed Dua in September 2024, had chosen to keep her away from the public eye for over a year. However, on Tuesday, the couple surprised fans with a special Diwali post on Instagram, sharing their first family photos featuring baby Dua.
In the pictures, the family radiates warmth and festive joy. Baby Dua looks adorable in a bright red traditional outfit, perfectly twinning with her mother Deepika, who is seen wearing a regal red ensemble adorned with elegant jewelry. Ranveer complements them in a crisp white kurta pyjama, completing what fans have dubbed the “picture-perfect family.”
One touching photo shows Deepika holding Dua in her lap during Diwali prayers, surrounded by diyas and soft festive lights, capturing a moment of serenity and devotion. The couple captioned the post with a simple yet heartfelt message in Hindi, expressing gratitude and love.

In an earlier interview, Deepika revealed that deciding on a name for their daughter took nearly two months. “We wanted to first hold her and understand her personality,” she said. “The name came to me in the middle of the night while Ranveer was away on a shoot.”
Ranveer, who has frequently spoken about his deep admiration for Deepika’s role as a mother, shared that her life has completely transformed since Dua’s arrival. “Everything else comes secondary for her — sometimes even her own health,” he said.
